OSCEOLA, Wis. - A child is dead after he was run over by a vehicle in a neighbor's driveway.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says 1 1/2 year old Abraham Flynn was outside with his siblings at a home on the 500 block of 280th Street in the Town of Farmington Monday morning when a vehicle needed to be moved so the driveway could be plowed. A 54-year-old man was moving a large panel van around the circular driveway and apparently didn't see the little boy. Witnesses say Abraham was run over by the van's rear tires.
The boy was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where he succumbed to his injuries.
At this point the incident remains under investigation, and it is uncertain whether charges will be filed.
