The Phoenix supports recovery with active lifestyle, community

The Phoenix builds sober active community and provides free programs for individuals in recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Phoenix, a national nonprofit founded in 2006, is launching a unique recovery support program in Minnesota in January.

The Phoenix builds sober active community and provides free programs for individuals in recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. Programs are provided in a safe, sober and supportive environment within a physically active community.

Through pursuits such as climbing, hiking, running, strength training, yoga, CrossFit, biking, socials and other activities, members are supported in helping develop and maintain the social connections and emotional strength needed to stay sober. 

Beginning Jan. 20, The Phoenix will offer CrossFit on Sundays at noon at CrossFit St. Paul located at 470 Cleveland Ave N and yoga on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at Minnesota Recovery Connection at 2446 University Ave W. in St. Paul. Learn more on The Phoenix website.
