MINNESOTA, USA — After a frosty start to our day, we ended up with seasonal temperatures under blue skies along with a light southeast breeze.
Back to back, low-pressure centers are set to move in on Friday and once again on Sunday. Showers will be likely by Friday midday before some clearing is expected Saturday. This could give us a chance to dry out for a bit and warm up before the next wave of rain is expected into Sunday morning.
If we can dry out enough on Saturday this will allow temperatures to get back into the 60s. Winds will still stay very breezy with mostly cloudy skies.
Widespread rain is likely again Sunday morning and could last the entire day. Rain totals from Friday to Sunday will range from 1-3 inches. Severe threats at this time are low with storms likely to our south in Iowa and Wisconsin.
Looking beyond rain chances this week, temperatures will remain fairly steady with only minor swings in the numbers.
