GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — This weekend you can experience the flavors and culture of Greece without leaving the Twin Cities. The annual Greek Summer Festival at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church shares faith, food, culture and music with the community.
All of the food and baking products are home made from recipes that go back to the old world of Greek cuisine.
Part of the proceeds from the festival go towards Saint Luke Mobile Health Clinic sponsored by Focus, MN.
Saint George Greek Festival is taking place August 17, 11 am-9 pm and August 18, 11 am-6 pm.
