MINNESOTA, USA — Overnight lows will end up below freezing nearly everywhere in the region tonight.
There is a Freeze Warning for the southern half of the state where the growing season has started and sub-freezing temperatures are expected. You will want to protect those sensitive plants tonight and quite possibly again Saturday night.
Any morning clouds are expected to clear by Saturday afternoon leaving us with blue skies.
Temperatures will still be below average on Saturday, but sunny skies will make for a fantastic afternoon.
Blue skies will stick around for Sunday along with a northwest breeze, but temperatures will respond by warming towards 60 degrees in most neighborhoods.
Temperatures will remain fairly steady for the workweek with no major swings in our numbers. There will be a chance of some afternoon light showers on Monday and we could even see some sprinkles on Tuesday. There is a bigger chance of rain showing up in the forecast for Friday continuing into the weekend.
Temps bottom out Friday, with morning frosts possible both Saturday and Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon looks less windy and warmer, with highs near 60. Temps should stay in the lower 60s heading into next week as shower chances return on Monday.
