Fantasy football tips for Week 12

USA TODAY Fantasy Sports
Lions running back Reggie Bush didn't play last week because of a sprained ankle. He has only 53 carries this season.

A few additional fantasy nuggets to help owners set their Week 12 lineups, including injuries, a key sit/start matchup and the stat of the week.

Injury report

Be sure to check the USA TODAY Fantasy Sports player notes for the latest updates prior to kickoff.

RB Arian Foster, Texans (questionable)
Nagging groin injury still an issue. Alfred Blue's 36 carries, 156 yards last weekend reduces urgency to rush Foster back.

RB Giovani Bernard, Bengals (questionable)
Hip is improving and it looks like he'll see at least some game action for first time since Week 8. Jeremy Hill still a better fantasy play.

RB Reggie Bush, Lions (probable)
Practicing again after sitting out a game with a sprained ankle, he should be back in Detroit's three-man backfield rotation.

TE Dwayne Allen, Colts (questionable)
Three-game TD streak snapped last week when he exited early with a sprained ankle. Coby Fleener is a good insurance policy.

WR Emmanuel Sanders, Broncos (questionable)
Still going through league's concussion protocol after Sunday's vicious hit. Have a backup ready because he'll likely be a game-time decision.

TE Julius Thomas, Broncos (questionable)
Another ailing option in the Denver passing game, he's sidelined with a sprained ankle. Jacob Tamme likely to see more snaps.

WR Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals (questionable)
Knee sprain has kept him from practicing, but he could still play Sunday. John Brown could be a sneaky fantasy option.

TE Delanie Walker, Titans (questionable)
After missing Monday's game with a concussion, he's been cleared to practice. Chase Coffman's TD may be a one-time-only thing.

WR Brandin Cooks, Saints (out)
Encouraging rookie season ended by a broken thumb. Marques Colston and Kenny Stills will be asked to step up their production.

Key matchup

START: QB Jay Cutler, Bears

Cutler torched the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11 for 330 yards and three touchdowns. Expect a repeat performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who allow 266.1 passing yards a game. At $6,500 in FantasyScore, he's a steal.

SIT: QB Russell Wilson, Seahawks

The struggling Seahawks offense faces an Arizona Cardinals defense that has allowed two passing touchdowns in three games. Wilson doesn't have any consistent receivers, so he's going to struggle if he doesn't have a big day rushing. Even at $6,000 in FantasyScore, Wilson's a risk.
