Ben Affleck, Matt Damon take blame for #DeflateGate

Matt Damon takes responsibility for Deflategate on Jimmy Kimmel's show.

If there's anything Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are more famous for than their acting and their bromance, it's for being from Boston, Mass.

And with all the controversy over the New England Patriots and #DeflateGate this week, you knew that these famous Bostonians were going to have something to say about it.

Affleck and Damon, along with Chris Evans, John Krasinski and Steven Tyler, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night for a sketch where they all — in character as loyal Patriots fans with very strong accents — took responsibility for deflating those balls.

Of course, they all had legitimate reasons for doing so, which varied wildly (one needed air to rescue a falling blimp, another thought there was a genie in the balls), but what they all agreed upon was that Tom Brady had nothing to do with it, because he's a hero.

So we guess that solves it, then.
