MINNEAPOLIS — Downtown Minneapolis was busy with a flood of sports fans Saturday afternoon.
Those with baseball jerseys filtered into Target Field while hundreds of Timberwolves fans took their seats at Target Center.
One fan described the Wolves' momentum as 'finally good again.' Others say the ups and downs have been worth it for this moment, albeit a painful ride.
"It’s brutal but we love the team," said Tyler Adams when asked about what it's like to be a Minnesota sports fan.
Adams and his parents have been loyal Wolves fans for years. He was nervous going into the Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns.
"It’s a bad matchup," he said. "I don’t love it but I think we can pull it."
Renae Maldonado was visiting from Phoenix and is a loyal Suns fan.
"It's going to be a close game," she said. "But I think we can take them."
